Free ideas

I occasionally have ideas about things I want to build, but have not gotten around to it and may never get around to it. So I'm giving them away. Some will be good ideas, some will not. Feel free to take them and do what you want with them. If you build something awesome, tell me so I can use it!

Scavenger hunt maker

We do an annual Christmas light scavenger hunt. It involves driving around our neighborhood and the neighborhoods around us looking for things like Grinches, Blueys, wreaths, giant ornaments, and other random things that we know are there. It would be cool to be able to share those scavenger hunts by neighborhood or location. Like if one person goes around and marks the cool/unique/interesting decorations in a neighborhood, others could select that neighborhood and generate a scavenger hunt list for their kids.

Carpool coordination

We're a part of several carpools (mostly organized by Tricia) to get my kids to various sports/activities. It involves texting various groups of parents, coordinating different schedules for different days, sometimes picking up different groups of kids for different days, and sometimes shifting who is picking up and dropping off when things come up. Different days and our own shifting schedules means that sometimes Tricia drives, and sometimes I drive. It would be very helpful to have addresses and contact information shared in a way that allows me to fill in on a day that I don't normally drive, and have all of the kids' addresses and parents' contact information if needed. It'd be cool if it also allowed for swapping shifts, reminders, etc.
